  1. Won't watch the video because it will irritate. But yeah, ee, it's tax time. I actually don't mind paying, I just hate the process.

  2. AH, yeah, it might irritate, but it's also hysterical. I agree about taxes. I pay to have it done--my treat to myself.

  3. Some of cummings' descriptions are hysterically real/visual:

    when "valleys accuse their
mountains of having altitude"... and "and march denounces april as a saboteur"...

I'd love to listen to more of nature and less of Palin. sigh.

  4. I had a hard time understanding this poem. maybe thats the wrong description; I got the connections/associations but it felt disjointed in a way. (or maybe the web site needs to be redesigned) kept seeing that Joker bobbing his head out of the side of my eye.

Anyhow, does that put me in league with Palin?

Next year I'll have taxes. I like taxes because it means I made some money.

  5. "valleys accuse their mountains of having altitude"--I love this line.

I'll spare you my tax rant.

  6. PA, good reminder about cause and effect.

PA and Brenda, as for the poem itself, I'm adding some commentary today--hope you'll have a look.

Jean, I agree about that line, though I like most of the comparisons here--in spite of finding fault with cummings' argument.
