Conversation. Especially literature and language, education, football and baseball, movies, history, then and now, birds, two-lane roads. "Banjo" is a fun word, and the instrument can make fine music. But this isn't really a blog about banjos, except in the metaphorical sense of interesting sounds riding across a valley from one porch to another. Click on any photo to enlarge. They are out in force these days. Go ahead and turn on the wv. Maybe they'll go away in a week or two.
I agree with Hiker. They are driving me crazy, too - so I know we won't fault you if you require moderator review OR wv.
Either way, DO NOT give up posting, Banjomyn!
Thanks, you two. Others?
I regret that I hadn't the opportunity to visit the post littered with anonymous attacks, but from what I see now, I can well understand your reaction.
I have personally not experienced so many problems. My policy is to deny anonymous comments, no word verification, and comment moderation turned on after one week. Most spam come to old posts, and together with what little else I get is easily removed.
Thanks, Rune.
Rune's right. If you get little or no anon activity on your blog, just block the anon's.
what you've done is good - comment moderated. Then you won't have all those "removed" gaps.
I've had very little spam activity on my blog, but when I do, I always wonder what it is these spammers have to gain from this activity.
