Conversation. Especially literature and language, education, football and baseball, movies, history, then and now, birds, two-lane roads. "Banjo" is a fun word, and the instrument can make fine music. West hiking with Capote's Christmas Memory in the ear buds. Doesn't get much better than that.
Merry Christmas Banjo.
Many thanks, A.H. Same to you, of course.
What's a typical hike for you--in minutes or miles? Don't worry, I won't be keeping up, just curious.
And you imply that your horse Vandy has some attitude. True? Named after Vanderbilt Univ.?
I don't think I've ever read or listened to that Capote. Apparently, I should.
Hiking, generally 5, sometimes 10. Vandy was named when I bought her as a two year old. She's papered as a racing quarter, so the registered name is Vandy's Top Rocket.
Ah, read the Capote.
