I Am Not a Pit Bull |
Speaking of circus animals and horse whispering (recent posts here), today I offer a dog and kitten video, three minutes long. I dare anyone to try to watch less than the whole thing.

Conversation. Especially literature and language, education, football and baseball, movies, history, then and now, birds, two-lane roads. "Banjo" is a fun word, and the instrument can make fine music. But this isn't really a blog about banjos, except in the metaphorical sense of interesting sounds riding across a valley from one porch to another. Click on any photo to enlarge. Students, remember to footnote. All text and photos: © 2009-2014 Banjo52

Well, I lost that bet. I'm such a sucker for these things. (Not that it matters, but I'm sure the pit is half boxer.)
AH, it's such a mystery, the whole animal-human thing, and for me, dogs in particular. We can explain it till the cows come home (speaking of animals), but it's only a drop in the existential bucket.
I don't know the PB breed well, but it seemed a curious description of breed to me too (almost said diagnosis). Are your two 100% boxer and lab?
That was a keeper. I see a lot of these but this one was definitely post-worthy. I loved the part where the kitty was gnawing on the dog's leg.
The level of cuteness on that video is so high....I loved it.
And then the kitten ate the pitbull ... :-)
Engaging story!
I'm glad the pit bull didn't eat the kitten. Maybe it was the boxer side of the family showing restraint. I have had the misfortune of seeing two of my cats attacked by pit bulls. One torn apart and the other rescued in the nick of time by Mr V.
I've lived the last 26 years in latin neighborhoods and they are the breed of choice. I miss shepherds.
I hope I didn't stop the flow of traffic with my less then stellar review of Pit Bulls.
Paula and Farm chick, glad you liked it. I too receive more of such items than I care to, but I thought this was a big cut above.
PA, Not as far as I'm concerned. I've been fussing about what to put up next.
RunE seems to be on your team, with an interesting and charming, though maybe Gothic, possibility.
