You first photo reminds of a "meeting" I once had with a deer in a small forest. I was sitting quietly on a rock when it suddenly appeared out of nowhere. We looked at each other - and it was gone. It was even more silent afterwards.

Rune, absolutely. Seems to me they always appear out of nowhere, and that's a big part of the charm.

Certain words by and of themselves just sound right. Silence is one of them. Contradiction? yes
