Once she hit him with the bible - I called 'fake'
I did see a video of a guy shoo was in an auto accident. He got out of his car, walked up to the offending motorist's window, pulled her cell phone away from her, and stomped it to bits - I'm sure I'm not the only 'rear ended person' to have felt like applauding his efforts
Ok, so I've got another request. How about a poem by Phillip Levine. He's from your neck of the woods. I heard him interviewed on NPR and was quite smitten.

PA, and our narrator recognized what kind of Bible it was . . . . The visitor comments after the video were pretty interesting, on both sides of the debate. Also, I share your road rage. I've been passed by people (disproportionately, young females, alas) texting as they go by at 85 mph.
AH, I'll do some homework. Yes, he's very Detroit, and very likable, I hear. I usually like parts of his poems, but find the wholes too talk-y. But guess what--he's got more cred than I do.
He should do baseball play by play. Not on the level of Vin Scully (no one else is, either), but he did well.
John, Interesting idea! I've sometimes wondered we haven't had a comic sports announcer (unless you count Howard Cosell, who did pretty well till he undid himself). I think it's a job with a big future if the right person can be found. Paula Poundstone? Jesse Klein? Maybe with a male straight man doing play by play?
